Artists and their Music

Joey Albert - Of the millions of stars that brighten our Philippine music industry, few have been blessed with a catalogue of timeless hit songs that are definitive of its decade.

Among the brightest and most beloved is Miss Joey Albert. Iconic, not only in her music, but also in her influence in OPM, Joey’s music has become the soundtrack of the 80’s.

Songs like “Tell Me,” “Million Miles Away,” “Without You,” “I Remember The Boy,“ “Yakapin Mo Ako,” “Iisa Pa Lamang” and “Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin” (which she wrote the lyrics of herself) have been immortalized in movies and teleseryes.

Although she has won countless major awards in her successful 40-year career, it is her presence in people’s lives that Joey values the most… and how her captivating, incomparable music uplifts the hearts of those who find it.

After a highly successful online concert called “Life Begins @40” to celebrate her luminous 40 years in the the music industry, Joey marks her 41st year with a new Robert More masterpiece called “Kundimang Kupas.”
